Cape Town is the third most populous city of South Africa, a country that is situated at the northern tip of Africa. This city is also the provincial capital of the Western Cape (a province that lies at the south western region of South Africa) as well as the legislative capital of South Africa. This city is primarily known for its harbor and the two dominant landmarks of this city, which are the Cape Point and the Table Mountain provides the city with its own charm. The Cape Town City Centre, the V&A Waterfront, the glorious beaches of Clifton, the Camps Bay, the wine farms of the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek is responsible for drawing in large number of visitors every year.

Coming, to the taxis, at this city you could either go for the metered taxis or the minibus taxis and the metered taxis are to be called at a particular location as they are not allowed to move freely within the city and the minibus taxis are taxis that are made use of by the local residents as well as the tourists to get to any particular destination at Cape Town.
